In loving memory of William Alan Mossberg, who passed away last year on Saturday, September 21, 2024.

Bill was born April 16, 1955, the son of Douglas and Margaret (Peg) Mossberg.

Bill graduated from New Ulm High School in 1973, where he excelled at sports, especially wrestling.

In November 1973, Bill joined the United States Army. He was with the Military Police and was stationed in South Korea. He received the National Defense Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal and Marksmanship badge. Bill was honorably Discharged in November 1975.

After serving in the Military, Bill began a career in home construction and remodeling with his brothers, Dave and Dale Mossberg.

On October 10, 1982 Bill married Rose Nowak. They resided in Spicer/New London until relocating to Tucson AZ in 1986, where he worked for his brother Dave at Solidus Development. Later he began his own company, Mossberg Construction in Tucson.

In December 1990, Bill and Rose welcomed a daughter, Jenna.

In 1997, Bill, Rose, and Jenna returned to Minnesota, where he began a career in roofing sales and remodeling. He continued that career until the Spring of 2023.

Bill's hobbies included: gardening, hunting, fishing, wood working, and each spring his favorite; Morel mushroom hunting.

Bill is lovingly remembered by his spouse Rose Mossberg Nowak, daughter Jenna and her husband John Shaw, and granddaughter Ellie.

Siblings and in laws: Dale, (Holly Mossberg who passed away March 29, 2025) Dave Mossberg, Barb (Larry) Levin, Helen (Bob) Ruebel, Margaret (Gary) Tolle, Jeanne (Kirk) Norby, and nieces and nephews.

Sister's and brother's in-law: Carol Nowak (Ron) Miller, Angela Nowak (Gary) Goloja, and Harry, Steve, and Frank Nowak and many nieces and nephews. Also many dear friends.
