Scottsdale, AZ - William "Bill" Gaddis passed away on Friday, Aug 22, 2025 in Scottsdale, AZ. He was born in Arcadia, CA and grew up in Minneapolis, MN. His 2 year battle with esophageal cancer stole all of his appetite and physical energy. But, it could not steal his soul, his spirit, his love and his great sense of humor. He will be remembered for his positive thinking and his love of life. Bill attended these Minneapolis schools: Annunciation & St. Thomas grade school, Benilde High School and the U of MN. He was a member of the MN National Guard. In his long career in marketing and advertising (including MN companies Control Data, Graco, Polaris, Toro, Hadley House and Overland Gallery in AZ) he was known as a problem solver and creative thinker. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Gloria Gaddis. His sons: Benjamin Gaddis, Alexander Gaddis and wife Jamie. Plus, 3 beautiful and talented granddaughters: Emma, Riley & Parker Gaddis. Sister, Kathy Wilson and husband Clark; brother, Mark T Gaddis; sister, Mary Patrice Knudson (3 nephews: Joey, Chris, Glen & Billy). His 2 lovely nieces: Ruthanne Fuller and husband Brian; Glorianne Olson and husband Ted. The Gallagher family: Mary & Jon Eversoll & Ann Gallagher.
