Time for bed.

Mom came home later

With comic books and Beatle records

You came home first

Ate dinner with us

Then dishes, homework, and Twilight Zone.

We were never alone.

You with your Argus and Polaroid cameras

Photos of all those days together

A trip up north to Bambiland

We three kids petting tame deers.

That Pixie cabin, we were squeezed in

Drum sets, dolls, toy cars and drive ins

The five of us, so close and near.

If we look at these photos and close our eyes

All that we were is still here.
