Mpls - Anderson, Vivian Leslie 79, of Minneapolis passed away on June 1, 2025. Viv was born on October 22, 1945 in St Paul MN. Viv married the love of her life Douglas A Anderson of Minneapolis on June 10, 1972 in Woodbury, MN. She spent the majority of her career at HM Smyth Printing of St. Paul as a bindery worker and retired in 2000. Viv enjoyed music and dancing, visits with family, friends and neighbors. She loved flowers, the little birds and squirrels that came to visit her and had a style all her own with her cute hats, scarves and many precious and fashionable jewelry pieces. She had an infectious laugh, a wit like no other and a sweet, adorable way about her and was loved by many. Viv is survived by her step children David Anderson & wife Christy of Albuquerque, NM, Darla Sanders & husband Jack of Tijeras NM, step-grandchildren Ashley Gonzales (Stephan), Sean Anderson (Martha), Daniel Cannon (Justin), step great grandchildren Olivia and Rory Anderson, Liam Gonzales, niece Vivian Molitor, nephews Steve Buhler and Chris Molitor, cousins Sharon Wollin, Doug Kasel, Larry Kasel, John Castle, Ronald Marlette. Viv was preceded in death by her husband Doug (2000), parents Leslie and Neva Peterson, sister Verdeen Molitor. A memorial service will be held at Washburn-McReavy, Hillside location at 2610 19th Ave NE Minneapolis on Friday, June 20, 2025.
