Plymouth, MN - Virginia "Ginny" Frey (nee Bros formerly Ginny Mach) of Edina.
Mom passed away March 22, 2025 just shy of her 99th birthday.
Born in Mpls. on May 28, 1926 to Ernest and Virginia Bros.
Mom was elegant, adventurous, thoughtful, generous and resilient, irreplaceable and greatly missed already. She took on many challenges throughout her life and handled them with grace-filled tenacity.
Preceded in death by parents Ernest and Virginia Bros, brother Bill, husband Bob Mach, partner Tom Hastings, husband George Frey, sons Ernest and Frank Mach, and son-in-law Todd Anderson.
Survived by her children, Ginger (Doug) Ward, Suzanne Nussle, MaryLou Anderson, Bob (Mary) Mach, Kathy (Mike) Johnson, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Also survived by George Frey's children, Paul (Danette), Tom, Jim (Julie), Anne (Scott) Cairncross, Cece, Richard, and Mary (Maureen), 9 step-grandchildren and 5 step-great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, May 29 at Our Lady of Grace Church, 5071 Eden Avenue, Edina, MN. (Mass will be live-streamed on YouTube). Private interment at Lakewood Cemetery.
