Vicki Lynn Bohnen Obituary

Vicki (Trafzer) Bohnen passed away peacefully on February 26, 2025 at the age of 71 in Lakeville, Minnesota. Vicki was born in Bloomington, MN on May 2nd, 1953. During her childhood, her family spent time in Oregon and California. They returned to Minnesota and settled in Bloomington, where Vicki attended Kennedy High School, graduating in 1971.

Vicki and Kurt Bohnen married in 1974 and were blessed the births of Rick and Stacy. Vicki worked to support the family business, and then went on to real estate. Later she worked for both Northwest and Delta. There she made many great connections and memories with her coworkers.

Vicki was well loved by her family and friends. In her later years, she enjoyed being a grandmother, and supporting her kids in their ventures. Her grandchildren loved her deeply, and enjoyed many moments and memories with her.

Vicki is preceded in death by her father Francis Trafzer, and her mother, Viola (Decker) Trafzer. She is also preceded by in death her sister Janet (Trafzer) Carpentier, and her partner of 30 years, Dennis Hirman. Vicki is survived by Kurt Bohnen, her son Richard (Tara) Bohnen, her daughter Stacy (Nathan Beane) Beane, and her grandchildren Carter and Aiden Beane, and Charlotte, Danika, and Ricky Bohnen.

We look forward to celebrating Vicki's zest for life and celebrate her love of family and friends at the Bloomington VFW at 311 W 84th St, Bloomington, MN 55420 on Wednesday, March 19th from 3-6.
