Marathon, FL - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vernelle "Bill" Melin, He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones.
Born and Raised on a farm in Willmar, MN, Bill spent his early years farming; it was where his work ethic came from.
Bill was the kind of person who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was a man whose life was defined by kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for those around him. His warm smile, gentle spirit, and open heart made him cherished by family and friends. He gave freely of himself without expecting anything in return.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Connie Melin, Siblings, Marv (Donna), Marsha (Greg) Children: Skip (Marta), Jeff (Amy), Jason (Rachel), Terry (Becky), Amy (Vito), Matt (Tricia) Grandchildren, Mattie (Kyle), Betsy (Estefan), Nina (Andrew), Luke, Emily, Martin, Cameron, Afton, Wes, McKenzie, Hunter, Arianna, Mariano, Giovanni, Olivia, Landen, Lia, Laney, and Wyatt, along with many Nieces and Nephews.
Private Celebration and Burial occurs on Monday August 25, 2025
