Troy Sabean 33, and wife Emma Porter, 33 of Roseville, MN tragically passed away in a head-on motor vehicle collision on May 25, 2024 in Morris County, Kansas while visiting Council Grove for an annual family reunion with Emma's relatives. Troy was born on June 9, 1990 and attended school at St. Rose of Lima grades K-8 and Roseville Area High School where he met his future wife and best friend, Emma Porter. Troy graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology (minor in Biology) and in 2015 with a Master's Degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations. Troy's caring heart, quick wit, and adventurous spirit was felt by many and brought Emma into his life sharing over 15 years together, marrying in 2018. They loved traveling, the outdoors, their pet bird Tiki, volunteering, and enjoying music together. A passion for nature and gardening lead Emma and Troy to create their beautiful pollinator garden. He also leaves behind his paternal grandparents Darlene and Kaye Sabean, aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family who will miss his smile and company. He was preceded by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Jean Bruegl. A Celebration of Life for Troy Sabean and Emma Porter will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024 from 10:00AM to 2:00PM in Central Park Jaycee Shelter located at 2540 Lexington Avenue North, Roseville, MN. Arrival at 10, Family and friends share memories and thoughts from 10:45 until 11:45, vegan appetizers and social gathering thereafter. Troy and Emma would appreciate memorial donations to social or environmental causes.
