Tammy Lee Gerber Obituary

White Bear Lake, Minnesota - After a courageous battle with cancer, Tammy Lee (Romain) Gerber, 54 of White Bear Lake, Minnesota passed away peacefully in her home, and in the comfort of her loving family on the evening of July 4, 2025.

Tammy found joy in life's quiet pleasures. She loved puzzles, libraries and banana bread. Her greatest joy was her family. She lit up with pride when sharing stories about Steve and Jordan, especially talking about their accomplishments. She was their biggest cheerleader and encourager- always thinking of Jordan and getting him involved in various activities and experiences. Steve and Jordan were the light of her life. She originated from Stillwater, Minnesota where she maintained friendships throughout her life. After growing up in a Vikings home and shortly after meeting Steve, Tammy became a committed Green Bay Packers fan. She loved watching football games and rooting for her team with her family.

Tammy was young at heart. She shared her love of 90s grunge music by trying to convince her Millennial and Gen Z nieces and nephews that it was the best music ever made. She loved Harry Potter. Through her excitement of books, she instilled in Jordan and her nieces and nephews a love for reading.

Tammy was a lifelong learner and earned many academic accolades and degrees. She had a passion for health and well-being through holistic and natural ways. As a licensed acupuncturist and diplomate of Chinese medicine, Tammy lived her values every day and in service and support of others. For 13 years, she cared for patients through her practice Points of Serenity. She also enjoyed creating custom herbal teas to help improve the quality of life for others.

Tammy was loved by many including friends and family members. In addition to her husband and son, Tammy was greatly loved by her parents and her brothers, her in-laws and her cherished nieces and nephews.

She is survived by Steve Gerber, her loving husband of 26 years; her son Jordan; her parents Carol and Ron Romain of Woodbury; and her brothers Mark (Eileen) Romain of Woodbury and Ron (Gretchen) Romain of Denmark Township; her father in-law Joe (Mary) Gerber of Menominee, Wisconsin; her mother in-law Wendy (Dave) of Portland, Oregon ; sister in-law Elena (Mike) of Portland, Oregon; and brother- in-law Brenden (Tu) Gerber of Madison, Wisconsin .

A celebration of life is being held at 3:00 on August 15th at White Bear Unitarian Universalist Church, 328 Maple Street, Mahtomedi, MN 55115. Memorials are preferred to Jordan Gerber college fund.
