Plymouth, MN - Suzanne Stanchfield Lee passed away on June 1, 2026, at the age of 94. Sue lived a full and fascinating life. She loved traveling, being with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was a mom to everyone. Sue was someone everyone loved to be with.

She was born on June 11, 1931, to loving parents Steele and Mae Stanchfield. She grew up in Minneapolis graduated from Washburn High School. Sue was married to John Lee for 52 years and raised their children Linda (Phil) Johnson, John (deceased), Tom (Renee), Roger (Christine), and Nan Roettger on Lake Minnetonka in Excelsior.

Grandma Sue was dearly loved by her nine grandchildren (Lindsey DiFiore, TJ Lee, Katie Ranne, Turner Lee, Steven Lee, Justin Lee, Adam Lee, Michael Lee, Jenna Dow) and her 11 great-grandchildren (Ethan, Andrew, Jackson, Olive, Blake, Luke, Rory, Penelope, Maverick, Harper, Milo). Some of their most cherished memories were playing cards with Grandma Sue and their beloved "Game Nights".

Sue was eclectic in her interests and pursuits including Sunday School Teacher, Girl Scout Leader, and Lake Minnetonka historical entrepreneur. In 1983 she opened Plymouth Travel Inc. which provided her the opportunity to travel the world with her family, enjoying new cultures, people and places. She was grateful to the dedicated people who worked for her for many years, the friends in Chelsea Woods, and the people at the Waters who befriended her. She will be greatly missed by all.

A celebration of life memorial will take place at Lakewood Cemetery at a later time.
