Maple Plain, MN - Susan, born 3/13/1951, passed away peacefully at Haven Homes in Maple Plain, Minnesota, on August 20, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with Huntington's disease—a journey she faced with remarkable strength, grace, and resilience.

Born to Don and Rita Kadlec, Susan was preceded in death by her beloved parents, her sister Laurie, and her brothers Jim and Rob Kadlec. She is survived by her loving sons: Jesse (Angelica), Mitch (Amy), and Matt (Mandi); her cherished grandchildren: Jessa, Victor, Hunter, Ty (Hailey), Codi (Ben), Rowan, Croix, Boden, and Esmae; and her dear great-grandchildren: Ezra, Harlan, and Dana.

Susan is also survived by her siblings: brother Steve (Patty), sisters Dawn Pflug and Barb White (Mike); and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who held her dear.

Affectionately known as Suz, Susie, Susie Q, Gramma Tookie, and GG, Susan was the heart of a large and loving family. Her warmth, humor, and unwavering spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew and loved her.

The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff and residents of The Glenn in Buffalo, where Susan spent meaningful time and built lasting bonds—she never forgot a single one of you. Special thanks also go to the dedicated staff, caregivers, nurses, aides, and hospice team at Haven Homes in Maple Plain for the exceptional care, compassion, and kindness they provided over the past two years.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
