Susan Aileen Tufford (Olson) born 1/1/1944, died 3/10/2025. The second of six children and the only girl. Susan graduated from Hallock High class of '62. She obtained an RN degree from Fairview nursing school in 1964. She married Robert Tufford in 1965. They had three sons; David, Andrew, and Robert. She spent over 50 years as a nurse, primarily in labor and delivery. A love of animals was always a big part of Susan's life, particularly dogs. Upon retirement she used her lifetime of experience delivering babies to foster pregnant rescue dogs, whelping and placing the mamas and their puppies in loving homes. Preceded in death by her parents Arnold Sidney Olson, and Aileen Theodora Olson (Messelt), and survived by her brothers Stephen, Mark, Craig, Christopher, John, her sons, eleven grandchildren, and one great grandchild. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to an animal rescue organization or the Humane Society. A celebration of life will be held this summer.
