Bloomington - Susan A. Leslie (Libby), 62, passed away November 4, 2025, at her home in Bloomington.

She was born May 3, 1963, to Dr. James A. Libby and Patricia Libby in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Susan graduated in 1981 from Lincoln High School in Bloomington, attended the University of Minnesota where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority, and graduated from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul.

Susan was an avid dog lover who worked for many years at South Hyland Veterinary Hospital in Bloomington. She was also a flight attendant at Eastern Airlines.

Susan deeply loved her family and enjoyed years of beach vacations in Naples, Florida, with her fiancé, Kevin. Her ready smile, sunny sense of humor, and deep love for her family will be missed by all who knew her.

Susan is survived by her fiancé and long-term partner, Kevin J. Johnson; her children Ryan Leslie, Katie Leslie Hoium (Jake), and Charles "Charlie" Leslie; her mother, Patricia Libby (Walshlager); her sister Sara Libby Wilson; her brother James B. "Jay" Libby (Teresa); and her granddaughters Peyton and Zoey Leslie.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dr. James A. Libby, who founded South Hyland Veterinary Hospital in Bloomington.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 12 pm - 2 pm at the Lakeview Room, Hyland Lake Park Reserve, Lakeview Room, Hyland Lake Park Reserve, 10145 Bush Lake Road, Bloomington.
