Lindstrom - age 77, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025, in Lindstrom, Minnesota.

Born on November 18, 1947, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Sue brought warmth and joy to those around her from the very beginning. Over the course of her life, she cultivated deep roots in her community and built a legacy of kindness, creativity, and dedication.

Sue retired after a remarkable 33-year career with NSP/Xcel Energy, where her intelligence and work ethic were deeply valued. Her professional life was marked by commitment and excellence, and she carried those same qualities into every aspect of her personal life.

For 55 years, Sue shared a devoted marriage with her husband, Bud Blomquist. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared passions.

Sue had a deep love for animals, especially standard poodles, and was actively involved in dog training and her local poodle club. Her gardens were vibrant reflection of her nurturing spirit, and she found great joy in tending to them. Whether she was enjoying the peaceful beauty of the lake, clipping coupons with savvy precision, or preparing a delicious spread for a gathering of friends and family, Sue approached life with thoughtfulness, generosity, and creativity.

Those who knew Sue remember her as extremely caring, thoughtful, impeccably organized, and smart as a whip. Her wit and genuine nature made her a cherished presence in any room. She had a gift for making others feel welcome and loved, often through the simple act of sharing a meal, offering a kind word, or sending cards and letters.

Sue was loved by many and will be greatly missed. May her memory bring comfort and inspiration to all who were fortunate to know her.

A memorial service will be held on Friday November 7th, 2025, at 11am at Washburn-McReavy Glen Haven Funeral Chapel and Memorial Gardens (5125 W Broadway, Crystal, MN 55429) with a visitation one hour prior.
