Niskayuna, NY - 65, of Niskayuna, New York, passed away peacefully at his home on May 10, 2026.

Born on January 3, 1961, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Steve was the son of John and Leila Schultz. He grew up in Crystal, Minnesota, and pursued an impressive academic path, attending the University of Minnesota, the Helsinki School of Economics, and Thunderbird, The Global Graduate School of International Management.

Steve built a distinguished international career in the power, energy and industrial sectors serving for Asea Brown Boveri Inc., General Electric International Inc, Honeywell International Inc. and Marquip International Inc. His work took him across Eastern Europe, Russia and the Far East and he was widely respected for his dedication and exceptional work ethic.

A devoted and passionate Mason, Steve was active in numerous Masonic bodies, holding leadership roles across many organizations.

Steve shared 39 wonderful years with Raili Tuulikki Forsstroem, whom he married on February 4, 2012

Steve is survived by his beloved wife, Tuulikki, his brother John and his sister Susan.
