Haskovitz, Shirley Joyce (Pomush) age 94, of St. Louis Park, passed away on March 13, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by children, Becky, Julie, and Jack (Stephanie Paul); grandchildren, Mirit Avny (Shai), Jessica Paul, and Colin Paul; great-grandchildren Gev, Tzuk, and Raviv; brother Sam Pomush; sister-in-law, Janet Pomush; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by husband, Harold; son, Barrie; grandson, Max; parents, Bess and Israel Pomush; and many close family members and friends. Born and raised in Superior, WI, at age 19 Shirley moved to Minneapolis, where she met Harold, and together they raised their children in North Minneapolis before moving to St. Louis Park in 1967. Shirley was an active member of the community, contributing to Tifereth B'nai Jacob and later B'nai Emet Synagogue. She was President of the local Conservative Women's League and the synagogue's Purim carnival, all while running the family business, H & H TV. She hosted beautiful Shabbat and holiday dinners, especially her renowned Rosh Hashanah feasts. Shirley's love for her family, friends, and community and her dedication to helping others will remain a legacy. She also deeply appreciated the nurses, hospice staff, and aides at Roitenberg and Shalom West, especially Mai. Memorials can be made to Beth El Synagogue or your favorite charity.
