St. Anthony Village - Hambrick, Shirley Ann (nee Truchinski) Age 88 of St. Anthony Village went home to Jesus June 5, 2025. Preceded in death by parents Albin and Mary Truchinski; brother Robert Truchinski; son Scott Januszewski and nephew Robert Bryngelson. She will be greatly missed by her son, Gordon Michael Januszewski and his wife Becky; sister Linda Bryngelson and her husband Scott; grandchildren Stephanie Kramer, Michael Januszewski and his wife Callie, Matthew Januszewski, Ashley Abboud, Donald Abboud his wife Maggie, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Shirley found joy in the simple pleasures in life such as baking homemade treats, tending to her garden and spending meaningful time with her family, especially her grandchildren. A woman of deep faith Shirley was a dedicated member of Holy Cross, giving generously of her time through attendance at daily Mass preparing the altar for the priests, the Rosary Guild, working funeral luncheons, Soup Suppers and Lenten Fish Fry. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength and intelligence. Special thanks to the staff at Family Tree Care Home who loved and cared for her, as well as the staff of St. Croix Hospice. In lieu of flowers donation to the Alzheimer Association and Holy Cross Church are appreciated. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 27, with visitation one hour prior at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1621 University Ave NE, Mpls.
