Maple Grove - Bemboom, Sharon Ruth age 78, of Maple Grove, MN, took her final breath on April 15, 2025 with her devoted husband, Robert John Bemboom, by her side. She will be remembered most for her devotion, strength, and compassion. Born on December 12, 1946, in St Cloud, MN, to Alvin and Florence Woods, she was the sibling of 3 brothers and 8 sisters. On June 10, 1967, Sharon married Robert, her life-long love. During their 57 year marriage, they added 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren to their family. Sharon and Robert spent their lives working side by side. They developed an exceptional and unbreakable partnership. Whether working together at the office or at home, there was hardly anything they couldn't do. There was no end to Sharon's creativity. Through medias such as sewing, painting, and crafting, she transformed various items, walls, furniture and clothing. Not only did her family profit from her talents in their homes, hundreds of students who passed through her daughter Jackie's classroom benefited from Sharon's contributions of talent and generosity. Perhaps her greatest gift was being a full-time grandmother. Sharon's involvement in their lives made her known as their "second mother". There wasn't anything she wouldn't do for them. Sharon is survived by her husband, Robert; 2 daughters, Jacquelene Mosqueda-Jones (Andrew) and Kristine Bemboom; 4 grandchildren, Josiah, Marisa (John), and Isabella (Alex) Mosqueda, and Jherian Mitchell-Jones; and siblings, Margie Bystedt, Judy Byram, Mike (Jean) Woods, Pat Woods, Nancy (Ed) Johnson, Laurie (Maury) Bloom, and Lia (Grant) Golberg. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Florence Woods; brother, John Woods; and sisters, Marilyn Borgert, Anita O'Connor, and Suzanne Fritz.
