Ulman, Scott R. Ph.D. Born in Rochester, MN, 70 years ago, and died on June 5, 2018 at the N.C. Little Hospice Home in Edina after a year-long battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Donald and Marianne, and his brother, Jeffrey. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie ("the light of his life", as he described her); his sister, Stephanie (Michael) Blair; his niece, Tamara McNamara; his nephew, Andrew Blair; his brother-in-law, Dennis Anderson (Judy); his godchild, Trenton Anderson; several nieces and nephews; and close friends, including, Kathy Rovenko, Carol Huttner, Robert Ritterbusch, and Michael Sher. He began his career in the experimental labs at the University of Minnesota as a pre-med student working with Dr. Wangensteen and ended his career as a Financial Economist for the US Treasury Department. Scott was a brilliant man and excelled in multiple areas. He left an indelible mark on many while here on earth. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 16th at 11:00 a.m. at the Anglican Church of St. Dunstan, 4241 Brookside Avenue, Saint Louis Park, MN. A luncheon will follow the service.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.
Tree Planting Timeline
Orders placed in:
January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
