Hopkins - 62, of Hopkins, MN, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2025, surrounded by family.

Scott was born July 12, 1963, in St. Louis Park, MN, the son of Thomas and Dottie (Crowley) Plehal. He was raised in Hopkins alongside his little brother Tim and graduated from Hopkins High School.

Scott married his best friend and true love, Cori, on February 3, 2006. They truly are a testimony of what love looks like. Cori never left Scott's side and was with him when he took his last earthly breath.

Scott especially loved his only daughter, Nikki, and the two grandchildren she gave him, Hayden and Lucy. He found joy in cooking, spending weekends at the lake in Danbury, his cat Tillie, and a great nap. He was affectionately known for being a gentle, kind soul by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him.

Scott is survived by his wife, Cori Plehal; daughter, Nikki Koehn, and grandchildren, Hayden and Lucy Koehn; mother, Dottie Plehal; brother, Tim (Barb) Plehal; special aunt, Patty Meath; stepchildren, Sarah Lundberg (Blake, Noah, and C.J. Bouton), and Nicholas (Robin) Lundberg; mother-in-law, Harriet Lodermeier; sisters-in-law, Vicki (Ken) Olson and Nancy (Joe) Cristoforo; and brother-in-law, Tom Lodermeier.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Plehal; sister-in-law, Nancy Plehal; father-in-law, Chuck Lodermeier; and brother-in-law, Scott Lodermeier.

A celebration of life will be held on November 22, 2025, from 1:00 PM (memorial) to 4:00 PM (reception) at the Hopkins Elk lodge, 30 8th Ave S, Hopkins, MN 55343.
