Linwood Township - Age 90, of Linwood Township, passed away on December 30, 2025. Loving husband, dad, grandpa & brother. Survived by his wife of 61 years, Yvonne Broadbent; children, Kevin Broadbent (Tufia) Broadbent, Shelley Broadbent; grandchildren Jack, Luke & Beau; sister, Barb (Bill) Ulvin; nieces, nephews, other relatives & many dear friends. Preceded in death by parents, Carroll & Lilly Belle Broadbent; sister, Betty Mae Webb. Buck was raised on the family dairy farm where generations of Broadbents lived & worked. He earned the FFA American Farmer Award at age 20. He & his wife, Yvonne, started Minnesota's first farmstead Gouda cheese business in 1976, & the family farm was later designated a Century Farm. Buck served 46 years with the Linwood Fire Department; was chairman of the first Linwood Planning Commission; served 26 years on the Farm Credit Board; & served on the Board of Directors at the First State Bank of Wyoming since 1992 until his passing. A devoted member of Wyoming United Methodist Church for over 60 years, Buck volunteered in many roles. Buck leaves a legacy of kindness, generosity & love for his family & community. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten. Visitation 4–7 PM Friday, January 16th at Roberts Family Funeral Home, Forest Lake. Memorial service 11 AM Saturday, January 17th with visitation beginning at 10 AM at Wyoming United Methodist Church. Interment, Linwood Cemetery.
