Bloomington, MN - Sandra "Sandy" Gail Roisum, age 84, passed away peacefully at home on April 13, 2026. Sandy is survived by her husband John of 63 years, children Lisa Murphy (Jim Davich), Todd (Joan) Roisum, Chris (Mary) Roisum; grandchildren Shannon (Matt) Dee, Max (Maggie) Murphy, Johnny (Mollie) Roisum, Jenna (Sam) Wolfe, Tony (Alyssa) Roisum, Mitchell Murphy, and Benjamin Roisum; six great-grandchildren, and many friends and family, including her nine siblings, Clair, Kathy, Gaylord, Rozy, Kevin, Alana, Patti, Jeannie, and Jan. Sandy is preceded in death by her parents Dora and Winton Madsen and brother Allan.

Sandy was born on April 5, 1942, and was proud to have grown up in New London, Minnesota, before moving to Bloomington, MN. She was always the brightest smile in every room and made friends with everyone she met. Sandy's many talents included painting and drawing, but her true passion was tending to her garden and making every yard she touched beautiful. An active member at Christ the King Lutheran Church (Bloomington), she sang in the choir for over 30 years and loved maintaining the church's flowers. A remarkable woman on all fronts, Sandy's true calling in life was to be a grandmother to her seven grandchildren and "Gigi" to her six great-grandchildren, who love her more than anything.

A celebration service to honor Sandy's life will be held on Friday, April 24 at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 8600 Fremont Ave, Bloomington. Service at 11:00 with visitation beginning at 10:00. Please wear pink or any bright color to honor Sandy and her favorite season, spring.
