Apple Valley, MN - Sandra (Sandy) Murphy, 81, of Apple Valley, MN passed away peacefully on Sept 13, 2025. Born on July 29, 1944, Sandy spent her early years with a fun crew of friends attending Washburn High School, class of 62, where she married her high school sweetheart Brian. They were married in June of 1965. Sandy's favorite pastimes were singing and cooking. Sandy was 45+ year member of Sweet Adeline's singing first with the St. Paul Chorus and later with City of Lakes Chorus. Sandy was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Brian John Murphy. She is survived by her daughter, Kellie Lekie (Patrick) and sister Pamela VanderGriend (Jim) along with many beloved nieces, nephews, family and friends. Services will be held on Sept 25th, 2025 at 2:30pm at Prince of Peace in Burnsville, MN. 13801 Fairview Drive, Burnsville, MN 55337.
