Bloomington, MN - Sandra S. Halberg, born June 17, 1942, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2025.

Sandy will be remembered for her incredible smile, warmth, tenacity, independence, and the way she made everyone feel welcome. She was ahead of her time in her views on human rights, living her values each day as a proud ally and advocate. She inspired those around her with her courage and compassion.

Her greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother, and she never missed a chance to let her family and friends know how deeply and fiercely she loved them right up until the end.

Sandy is survived by her husband, Curt; her daughter, Erica and son-in-law, Chris; her grandsons, Sonny and Callen; and countless friends and family members whose lives were brighter because of her.
