St. Paul - Kassekert, Rosanne Margaret (Burnham)

February 27, 1947 - April 27, 2025

Rosanne Margaret Kassekert, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025, at the age of 78, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with kidney cancer. Rosanne resided in St Paul, MN though spent many years raising her family in White Bear Lake, MN. Born on February 27, 1947, Rosanne lived a life defined by compassion, generosity, and quiet strength. She dedicated her entire professional career to serving others as a social worker at Regions Hospital where her warmth and empathy touched countless lives. She was incredibly proud of her years at Regions and the relationships she formed there, many of which lasted the rest of her life. Rosanne's love extended deeply to her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Vern; her children Julie (Joe) Fittante and their children Talia and Joie; Tricia (Ron) Armstrong and their children Tommy and Jillian; and Kevin (Rebecca) Kassekert and their children Sydney, Kai, and Vivienne. She also leaves behind her cherished siblings: Richard, Mike (Pam), and Betty; along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Rosanne found joy in the simple things - knitting, sewing, reading, and traveling - and especially treasured time spent with her loved ones. She cherished the time spent with her family and leaves behind countless treasures handmade with love. She was known for her boundless generosity and kind spirit, always ready with a thoughtful gesture or a listening ear. Though she will be deeply missed, Rosanne's legacy of love, strength, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. A special thank you to the team of people who cared for Rosanne over the last 6 years of her life, especially the Cancer Care Team at Regions Hospital. A celebration of Rosanne's life and legacy will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at 12:00 pm, Bradshaw Funeral Home Stillwater, 3800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater, MN 55082. A visitation beginning two hours prior from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Service will be live streamed through the Bradshaw website. A lunch will follow the service. There will be a private interment at Resurrection Cemetery at a later date.
