Eden Prairie - Schneider, Ronald Wayne 77, of Eden Prairie, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2025. He was born April 12, 1948, in Tyndall, South Dakota. During his yearlong battle with cancer, he never lost his characteristic humor and optimism or waivered in his faith, and he treasured every moment with his family. In addition to lovingly caring for his family, Ron also found great joy in being in the company of good friends on the golf course. These friends were a steady source of support in life and throughout his illness. Ron is survived and greatly missed by Barbara, his wife of 47 years; children Brooke (John), Allison, Jeff (Sarah); cherished grandchildren Emily (Casey), Abigail, Chase, Frederick, Edmund, Jaxon and Leopold; and sister, Julie. Ron is preceded in death by his parents, John and Lenora (Roth) Schneider. A Celebration of Life will be held on September 19, 2025, at Westwood Community Church in Chanhassen (3121 Westwood Drive) at 11am, with visitation at 10am. The service will also be livestreamed. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Glioblastoma Foundation, Westwood Community Church, or the donor's favorite charity.
