Roger grew up in South St. Paul and graduated from South St. Paul High School and the University of Minnesota with a degree in Mathematics. He also served for three years in the US Army and was discharged with military honors. Roger married Katheen Korsmo on December 30, 1966; they settled in Minnetonka and were married for 52 years until Kathleen's passing in 2019. Roger was brilliant and a pioneer in the field of computer science working with many companies including running his own business; the last 21 years of his career were spent at Wells Fargo where his knowledge and dedication were much appreciated. He retired in 2019 at the age of 80. He was an avid reader with an electronic library of over 1,000 books and also enjoyed travel, discussing current events, playing games, and watching his favorite team, the Minnesota Vikings. Roger was kind, witty and generous; truly, a lovely man. He will be greatly missed. Many thanks to Toni, Majestic, Janea and Kendra for your excellent care and friendship.
