Burnsville, MN - Roger David Garrett, 71, of Burnsville, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at home on June 16, 2026, after a brave but short battle with lung cancer.
Roger was born on January 7, 1955, in Lubbock, Texas, to Roger Dale Garrett and Betty Lou Pinson. He was lovingly raised by his grandmother, Ada Marie Terry Garrett, whose guidance and devotion helped shape the man he became.
He is survived by his wife, Deanna Garrett of Burnsville, Minnesota; stepdaughter, Meghan (Jacob) Weidenhaft of Lakeville, Minnesota; granddaughter, Taylor Weidenhaft of Lakeville, Minnesota; daughters, Eva (Doug) Smith and Sonja (David) Fox of Mesquite, Texas; and grandsons, Jacob and Tyler Robinson of Mesquite, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger Dale Garrett and Betty Lou Pinson; his grandmother, Ada Marie Terry Garrett; and his grandson, Michael Todd Robinson.
Roger will be laid to rest in Kearns, Texas.
