Apple Valley, Minnesota - Roberta "Bobbie" Jean (Pearl) Field, 72, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 13, 2025. Bobbie was born on April 26, 1953, to Helen Mary (Hanlon) and LeRoy Ralph Pearl in Minneapolis. She attended Lakeville High School, graduating class of 1971.

Bobbie worked at Murphy Trucking and Kelleher Construction before moving to the Bay Area in 1990. She spent ten years there raising her daughter, Angela. Bobbie taught Sunday school, volunteered to support young mothers, and worked at the church preschool. She took college courses, weathered a divorce, and made close friendships.

She loved to read and spent many hours at the library. She loved animals, watching murder mysteries, music, and the Twins.

She lived for her family. She was a proud mother. She cared for her mother for many years, missed her father always, and called her sister every morning.

We ask that you remember Bobbie for her kindness, her humor, and her strength. She had health challenges all her life, yet met them with a quiet resolve. She created a home of acceptance, love, and comfort. She made others feel seen and valued. She was everything a mother should be. We're better for having known her, and we will miss her forever.

Our family would like to extend a deep appreciation to everyone who has provided care to Bobbie these last few months. As a family, we will be forever grateful for the support and kindness shown.

She is survived by her daughter, Angela Field; sisters, Patricia Waalk, Susan (David) Ostlund, and Janean (Roger) Hanuman; brothers, Mark (Lia) Pearl and Dean (Vicki) Pearl; former husband and friend, Jeffrey Field. She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and LeRoy Pearl; brother-in-law, Michael Waalk.

A celebration of life will be held at Lakewood Cemetery Memorial Chapel on Friday, November 28, 2025, at 1pm. Interment at Lakewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in her name to Starlight Children's Foundation.
