Bloomington, MN - Robert Keith Nelson, age 78, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2025. He was born on October 11, 1946, and lived a life rich in love, family, and adventure.

A devoted family man through and through, Robert found his greatest joy in being surrounded by those he loved. He was passionate about travel and had a deep love for live music. His legacy is one of love, music, and a life well-traveled. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Karen, and his sister Sandy Gappa (Terry). He also leaves behind his daughter Amy Mattson (Rob) and his grandson Lucien Anderson. Additionally, he is survived by his daughter Katie Kinney (Bill) and his granddaughters Abby and Amanda Kinney.

A memorial service to honor Robert's life will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, located at 4343 Nicollet Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55409. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by the service at 2:00 p.m., with a reception to follow.
