Plymouth - age 87, of Plymouth, MN, passed away on September 10, 2025 at North Memorial Hospital after a courageous battle with interstitial lung disease. He was surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Melfort, Saskatchewan, Bob grew up on the family farm near Quill Lake. He earned his degree in math and physics from the University of Saskatchewan in 1962 and pursued a distinguished career as an actuary. He became a Fellow in the Society of Actuaries in 1974, retiring in 2001 as partner and chief actuary at Deloitte-Touche.

Bob married Lucille Lafleche in 1964, and together they raised their family in Robbinsdale. He lived a full and active life—completing a marathon at 40, sailing, skiing, traveling, biking, and volunteering extensively, especially at the Basilica of St. Mary. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be forever remembered for his generosity, warmth, humor, and charm.

Preceded in death by his parents, James and Mysie, and sister, Marilyn. Survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Lucille; children, Ron (Brenda), Dee Ingram (Paul Barlament), Rich (Martha); grandchildren, Ian Johnson (Hannah Yeskel), Noah Johnson (Larissa), Mia, Ryan (Alyssa), Brett, Quinn, Jack, and Julia; nieces, nephews, and many beloved relatives and friends in Canada and the U.S.

Visitation 5-7pm Wednesday, Oct. 22 at Gearty-Delmore Funeral Home in Plymouth. A celebration of Bob's life will be held at 11am Thursday, Oct. 23 at Holy Name of Jesus in Medina with visitation one hour prior to Mass and luncheon to follow. Private Interment Quill Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Association or St. Vincent de Paul Ministries.
