Bloomington - age 78, formerly of Bloomington, passed away April 30, 2026. Bob will be remembered for his integrity, his strong relationships, and his lifelong dedication. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Hyon; children Tony (Wendi) Engebretsen, Michelle (Chad) Trent, and Sara (Brad) Miller; grandchildren, Eli, Odin, Cade, Hazel, Zoey and Mika; siblings Ron (Elayne) Engebretsen and Mary (Jerry) Brindise, brother in law Bob Doi; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Bob was preceded in death by parents John and Palma Engebretsen, sister Patricia Doi, and sister in law Sherry Engebretsen.

Bob's Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, May 14 with 10am visitation, 11am service followed by lunch at St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church, 17205 County Rd 6, Plymouth, MN 55447. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Angel Foundation of MN, or your local Boys & Girls Club.
