Brooklyn Center - age 88, of Brooklyn Center, passed away October 3, 2025. Richard was born and raised on their family farm in Wolverton, Minnesota. He was hard working and dedicated. He began his career working in a warehouse loading semi trucks. He then spent the rest of his career driving semi trucks. Preceded in death by parents and sister, Karen Ness. Survived by loving wife of 66 years, Jeanne; sons, Ron (Marie) and Steve (Maureen); grandchildren, Ryan (Lindsey) Johnson, Jennifer (Carl) Lymangood, Derek (Katie) Johnson, Nick (Claire) Johnson, Brad Johnson; 9 great-grandchildren; siblings, Leslie Johnson, Clark (Doris) Johnson, Raymond (Ginny) Johnson, Marilyn (Mark) Roche; brother-in-law, John Ness. Memorials preferred to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Interment Monday 10/13 at 12 Noon at Salem Lutheran Cemetery, Wolverton, MN. Service Saturday 10/11 at 3:00pm with visitation 1 hour prior at:
