Plymouth - Age 81, of Plymouth, MN, died Jan. 4, 2026, at his home. Born in Edwards, MS, RC grew up on a working farm and was one of fourteen children. He earned a BS in mathematics from Alcorn State University and a PhD in Education Administration from the University of Minnesota. RC began his career as a math teacher in Drew, MS, and later taught in Minneapolis. He dedicated more than 30 years of his career to working as a school administrator in the Minneapolis & St. Paul school districts. He was a man of faith who served in the church for many years. RC was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Survived by wife of 58 years, Queen; daughter, Joanna (James); son, Raoul C. (Joanna), grandsons, Elijah & Levi; siblings, Emmanuel, WC, HC, Evelyn & Carl. Funeral service honoring RC and his life will be held Monday, January 19, 11 AM at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home (6000 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Center. Visitation is Sunday, January 18, 5–7 PM, and one-hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
