Kainulainen Raymond Arvid, age 76, of Bloomington. Survived by wife, Dorothy; daughters, Jayne Kainulainen, Mari Kainulainen, Lori Kainulainen-Tolzman (Curtis); 3 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 3 step-grand- children & 1 step-great- grandchild; also numerous relatives in Finland. Raymond was born in Escanaba, Michigan to Arvid and Vivian Kainulainen on April 15, 1927. He later moved to Cloquet, MN, where he graduated from High School. Shortly before graduation, he enlisted in the Army and was station with the Army Corps of Engineers at Fort Lewis, WA. He later graduated from the University of Chicago and further attended the University of Minnesota in Duluth and in Minneapolis majoring in psychology and social work. He was employed by the Hennepin Co. Dept of Social Services for 40 years. Raymond also worked for H.R. Block for 5 seasons. Memorial service Thursday 11 AM at St. Mark's United Church of Christ, 8630 Xerxes Ave S., where family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment Fort Snelling.
