Littleton, CO - Philip James "Jim" Windey (May 9, 1936 - April 15, 2026), age 89, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family. Born in St. Paul, Minnesota. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1956 to 1962 aboard the USS Salem. Jim built a successful career in finance and later worked in real estate in Minnesota and Florida. In 1965, he met and married the love of his life, Judy. Together, they shared 60 years, 6 months, and 6 days of marriage. Jim loved skiing, boating, and lake life, and spent many years as a ski instructor. He lived in Minnesota, Florida, and Colorado, where he spent his later years close to family. He is survived by his wife, Judy; his children, Shanah and Kenny; his son-in-law, Andreas; his brother, Tom; and his grandsons, Kiefer and Kole. He will be laid to rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery with full military honors. Celebrations of Jim's life will be held in Colorado and Minnesota this summer.
