Rochester, MN - age 58, of Rochester, Minnesota, died on December 20, 2025, at Methodist Hospital in Rochester after a lengthy fight with cancer.
Peter was born on December 31, 1966, in Minneapolis to Jim and Gretchen Hanson. He attended Fridley High School and went on to build a career as both an on-air personality and program manager in the radio industry.
Known for his joy, optimism, and sharp humor, Peter embraced life fully. He enjoyed hiking, cabin getaways, and treasured moments with his family.
Surviving Peter are his wife, Amie Murad; his parents, Jim and Gretchen Hanson; and his siblings, Kathy Dahl and Rolf Hanson.
