Spring Lake Park - Age 104, of Spring Lake Park, died January 18, 2026 in Coon Rapids. She was born July 20, 1921 to Ashley and Viola Niles. Pearl married George Spano on June 26, 1943 and they had 3 children, Rick, Yvonne and Donald. Pearl loved to travel and frequently did so into her 80's. She was a prolific porcelain painter who won awards including a Lady Slipper award. She also knitted, did needlepoint and was involved in organizations including the Archdiocesan Catholic Women, ICC Rosary Society, MN Porcelain Painters and served as President of her townhome association. Pearl enjoyed participating in the VFW and Italian American Club. Survivors include daughter Yvonne (Don) Carlton and son Donald (Cindy) Spano; 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; sisters Ila and Grace; husband George and son Rick. Mass of Christian Burial 11AM Friday, January 23rd with visitation starting one hour prior at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 4030 Jackson St. NE, Columbia Heights. Interment Sunset Cemetery.
