Mpls, MN - Patricia (Patti) Schmidt, born Dec. 13 1963, passed away June 9th 2026 surrounded by family, ending her courageous 18 month battle with cancer.

She is preceded in death by her parents Vernon and Albertha (Bartko) Kragness and siblings Richard, Debra (Moore), Pamela (Arendt) and Bobby.

Patti will be greatly missed; her kind heart and outspoken spirit live on in those she loved. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Alan; daughter Angela and son-in-law Patrick Sheahan; son John and his partner Casey; her daughter Nicole; her four grandchildren, Briel (Nicole), Dominic, Cora and Maya (Angela & Patrick); brother David and caring friend Sue Aiken.

Visitation will be held at 3pm Tuesday June 23rd 2026 at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4343 Nicollet Ave, MPLS, a memorial service follows at 4pm.
