Edina - Patricia "Pat" Fulco (née Dooley), affectionately known to family and friends as "Grandma Pat," passed away peacefully at the age of 96.

Pat was born to Richard and Antoinette Dooley on Christmas Day in 1929 in Huron, South Dakota. She spent her early years in De Smet, South Dakota, before moving with her family to Faribault, Minnesota. She attended Bethlehem Academy, graduating in 1948, and went on to study at Mankato State Teachers College beginning in 1949.

Pat began her career at Swedish Hospital in St. Paul, where she was among the first technicians trained to perform electrocardiograms (EKGs).

While vacationing in Florida, Pat met her beloved Louis "Louie" Fulco. They were married on June 14, 1958, and began their married life in Highland Park, Illinois. They later returned to Minnesota, settling in Edina, where they raised their family.

For many years, Pat was the welcoming face at the front desk of Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park. She was known for her warmth, gracious smile, and genuine compassion, making patients, visitors, and coworkers alike feel valued and at ease.

Outside of work, Pat found joy in crocheting, oil painting, and spending time with those she loved. Her creativity, generosity, and positive spirit touched everyone who knew her.

Pat is survived by her children, Jane, Richard, and Tony (Terri); her beloved grandson, Connor; and many relatives and friends who will forever cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Louie.

The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Suite Living of Lakeville for the exceptional care and kindness they provided to Pat.

Family interment will be at Lakewood Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association.
