McGregor - Age 88 of McGregor, formerly of Minneapolis, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 3, 2026. Preceded in death by son, Steven; and brother, John Galdonik. Survived by her devoted husband, Richard; children, Dan (Beth), Trina (Eric) Olson, and Bill (Sylvia); grandchildren, Julie (Kristine), Thor (Laura) Olson, Aubrey (Andrew) Busch, Dane (Georgi) Olson, Drew (Liz), Benn (Courtney) Olson, Tim, Lilli, and Heidi; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Larry (Christine) Galdonik; daughter-in-law, Shari; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Pat truly loved her family, creating special and treasured memories for them in every way. From the early days of raising her own children in South Minneapolis to more recent times with her Grands & Great Grands, she took deep pride in the details of every experience. Holiday gatherings, decorating and meals, bonfires by the lake, and every family birthday were precisely accounted for. Close friends from her many clubs and circles over the years also brought her great joy. Retired life in the McGregor area on Island Lake came with gardening and the local gardening club, enjoying birds, deer, and all things nature through her window, and time to fully explore her love of cooking and food. A lifelong collector, her home was a constant source of wonder and amazement for all who visited. And no one left without all the sweets they could enjoy from her overstocked candy counter! A Memorial Gathering will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at SUMMIT Funeral & Cremation, 6415 Carmen Ave. E., Inver Grove Heights, MN 55076.
