Corcoran, MN - Nelson, Ted (84) passed away in his sleep on October 17, during a short hospital stay. Thirty five years teaching in the Osseo District 279; integral in implementing the district's special education program. Founding member and participant for 3+ decades in the district's Wastebasket Revue. Proud former director of horseback riding at Camp Warren and longtime lay leader with the Episcopal Church. Devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. Preceded in death by wife, Judy Nelson. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Thomas Karki; grandson, Deven Karki and sister, Karin Schmidt along with many loving friends and extended family. A Celebration of Life open house and lunch at Brookview Golf Course, 316 Brookview Pkwy, Golden Valley on January 17, 2026, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.
