Anoka, MN - Otto passed away peacefully on May 20th at 101 years of age. Born on January 3, 1925, to parents Otto Sr. and Louise, he grew up in north Minneapolis and graduated from Patrick Henry High School, class of January 1943. Drafted into the army, he served in the South Pacific earning a Bronze Star. After the war, he did a short stint at the family bakery before starting his career as a meter reader for the Minneapolis water department. Otto led an adventurous life as a bachelor working, traveling, hunting, camping, and visiting and helping friends. He was a lifelong devotee to BMW motorcycles. Otto finally found love in his late 70's and wed wife Barbara. Although he had mobility issues late in life, he was blessed with a sharp mind to the very end. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 4th with visitation at 10AM and service following at 11AM all at:
