Maple Plain, MN - Norma Jean (Belke) Franklin 82, passed away on Friday, December 12th of natural causes. Norma was born on March 6th, 1943 in St. Paul MN. Norma grew up on a dairy farm in Delano, MN and she learned to drive a tractor at 9 yrs old. She met her husband Bob Franklin on a blind date. She worked for the Orono Schools from 1982-2005. She enjoyed fishing, wood work and gardening. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Franklin. Survived by children James Franklin, Mary Benjamin (Mark), grandchildren Tucker (Brooke), Natalie & Charlotte. Visitation at 10:30 a.m. and memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on January 31, 2026 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Long Lake.
