Michael Sokolski (Mike) Obituary
Richfield - of Richfield, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2026. He is survived by his wife Helen; children, Adam (Amy) Sokolski and Diane (Mike) Govenat; five grandchildren; brother, Charles Sokolski; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mike was born April 19, 1941, in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He graduated from Green Bay East High School and obtained his Electrical Engineering degree from Marquette University. He worked as an engineer at Control Data, Horton Manufacturing, Nexen Group, and consulted with General Dynamics. His "Eden" was his log cabin in northern Wisconsin. He will be remembered by family and friends for his kindness, witty humor, and being the ultimate Green Bay Packer fan.
A memorial service will be held on May 15, 2026, at 11:00AM at Woodlake Lutheran Church in Richfield, MN. Visitation one hour before the service, with a reception following. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to VEAP (Volunteers Enlisted to Assist People) or Woodlake Lutheran Church.
