Michael Earlen "Mike" Seaman passed away unexpectedly at his home in Minneapolis on July 30, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earlen and Margaret Seaman and his niece, Kayla Seaman.
He is survived by his sons, Gabriel (Kristen) Seaman and Jesse Seaman; his grand daughters Porter and Stella Seaman, his brother Lee (Carol) Seaman and his sister, Jill (Craig ) Kohler. Mike will be remembered with love by his extended family and many dear friends.
Born on August 9, 1950, Mike was raised on a farm south of Spencer, Iowa. He went on to become a dedicated educator at Highlands Elementary in the Edina Public Schools, where he was proud to serve and inspire generations of students. He was also a passionate and accomplished long-distance runner, well known in the Minneapolis running community.
A memorial gathering to celebrate Mike's life will be held on September 20, 2025. The place and time is still to be determined.
