Shoreview - Reid, Michael Alan age 83, of Shoreview, MN, passed away on August 24, 2025. Born in Spring Valley, WI in 1942, Mike raised his family and resided in Anoka, MN for 40 years, before settling in Shoreview. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a cherished friend to many. Mike built a life full of connection and purpose, supporting Gopher athletics, playing and coaching football at the University of Minnesota, and working for 30 years with Pfizer. He enjoyed spending time at the cabin, traveling, golfing, hunting, fishing, and woodworking. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Jeanette, and his daughter, Lisa Ganske. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Judy; sons Brian (Colleen) and Branden; grandchildren Lauren (Dalton) Terp, Rachel Ganske, Erica Ganske, Ashleigh, Makynna, Jayce, Grant, and Sarah; brothers Bob (Dianne) and Don (Jane); son-in-law Mike Ganske; as well as many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Gopher Athletic Fund. Evening visitation to be held Thursday, September 11, from 5 to 8 PM at Washburn-McReavy Shoreview Chapel.
