Mpls - Madison, Michael R. Born on August 22, 1948, passed away at home with family by his side on August 27, 2025. Preceded in death by parents, Edward and Grace; brothers, Patrick, Dr. Edward. Survived by loving wife of 49 years Sandra; sons, Michael Jr.(Daria), Joshua, Joseph, Matthew; brother, Lawrence 'Rip' (Carol); grandchildren, Isaac and Mieszko. Vietnam Veteran served in Army. Worked 28 years at the Department of Veterans Affairs as a dedicated LPN. Had a most remarkable ability to retain names and events of past. Well liked by many. Enjoyed his time with family and attending the races at Canterbury Park. Mastered the skill to walk backwards in which he incorporated into his daily exercise regimen. Family and health was paramount to him. He will be sorely missed by his family.
