Michael Martin Cronquist (Cronk) Obituary

Mpls - age 78, of Minneapolis, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025,

after a courageous battle with cancer. Mike was born in Minneapolis and was a union carpenter for more than 60 years. He enjoyed fishing on Six Mile Lake and spending days at Canterbury Downs. Mike deeply loved his family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Cronquist, father Albert Cronquist, and his brother, Daniel "Danny" Cronquist. Mike is survived by his longtime partner, LeAnn Gfrerer, his daughters, Kerry Cauwels (Doug) and Katie Hatting (Michael); his sisters: Kathleen Cronquist, Mary Ellen Norby (Chief), and Patricia Tholen (Rick); five grandsons and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, January 24, 2026 with visitation one hour prior at the Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, 5000 West 50th & Highway 100, (952) 920-3996. www.Washburn-McReavy.com
