Merle Jerome Aase (Ace) Obituary

Crystal - 92, passed away due to a stroke and heart attack. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra (Wourms) Aase, one grandson, Aaron Ross, his parents, Albin and Minerva Aase, and two sisters, Jolene Ross and Sharon Schmidt. He is survived by his children, Sidnie (Brad) Ross, Beth (Deane) Hayes, Chris (Sharyl) Aase, and Mick (Kristine) Aase. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Ace was born and grew up in Kenyon, Minnesota. He left Kenyon after graduating high school and began working for Honeywell in Minneapolis. He met Sandra and married her in 1956. He was drafted and served in the Army, and was very proud of his service. He returned to Honeywell after his honorable discharge. He and Sandra lived in Crystal, raising their family. He retired from Honeywell, and he and Sandra began traveling, trying to see as many states as possible. They enjoyed spending winters in Florida. Ace enjoyed playing the game of golf. Ace loved to talk to people.
